Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Watertown, NY. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable healthcare facility, offering a competitive pay rate and the potential for contract extension.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment to assist in the diagnosis of patient conditions.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality CT scans as ordered by physicians

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment

Ensure proper safety protocols and radiation protection measures are followed

Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records

Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Monitor and assess patients during procedures, reporting any unusual reactions or conditions

Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging suite and equipment

Qualifications:

ARRT Certification in CT (Computed Tomography) โ€“ Required

Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License

Minimum of 1 year of recent CT experience

BLS Certification (AHA or equivalent)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient care

Shift Details:

Shift: Day Shift

Schedule: 5x8s or 4x10s (exact schedule to be confirmed)

Start Date: ASAP or upon credentialing

Contract Details:

Length: 13 weeks with strong possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $80 to $84 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
