OpenText Exstream Developer
Location: Seattle/Bellevue, WA (Onsite)
12 months

Developer level candidate needed.
 
Responsibilities:
• Configuration, development, integration testing, and production rollout support on Exstream Cloud Native (CN) environment.
• Independently interpret and implement architecture, design, deployment, and cloud configuration tasks.
• Migrate existing applications and forms from legacy Exstream platforms to the Exstream Cloud Native (CN) environment.
• Design and facilitate the configuration of migration components from lower environment to production.
• Develop end-to-end Customer Communication Management (CCM) applications.
• Integrate output queues for printing and electronic channels.
• Understand the customer requirement and finalize the input file structure.
• Thorough understanding of different output formats (AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, Empower).
• Design and prepare business requirement documents, technical design documents, and other project documentation.
• Conduct peer review of development work done by the team.
• Create, maintain, and ensure adherence to developer checklists, peer review checklists, and coding best practices.
• Perform unit testing, participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases.
• Conduct effective quality assurance (QA) to ensure compliance with requirements and standards.
• Identify performance tuning opportunities and participate in cost optimization activities as needed.
• Identify training needs of the team and facilitate training exercise.
• Provide accurate updates to Architect and PM/DM.
• Identify performance tuning and cost saving activities within project as needed.
• Actively participate in daily stand up to review project deliverables progress.
• Actively participate in weekly project status reviews with customers, providing updates and addressing risks or issues.
What you need (Knowledge, Skills & Experience):
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end document lifecycle and expertise in OpenText Exstream.
• Experience in OpenText Exstream migration projects, including upgrades and modernization.
• Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) deploying Exstream server-based and cloud-native platforms.
• Experience end-to-End document lifecycle and OpenText Exstream
• Experience developing and managing OpenText Cloud and web-based applications.
• Experience in OpenText Exstream Live, Empower, Communications Designer and Content Author
• Experience in OpenText Exstream, Communication Builder, Communication Server, OTDS, WorkShop, StoryBoard, ReTouch, Supervisor
• Strong understanding of Orchestration Flow Context, Flow Model, and Flow Script, including debugging and enhancements.
• Hands-on experience working with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with Control-M job scheduling and workflow orchestration.
• Strong skills in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving across application and infrastructure layers.
• Experience in direct customer communication, requirement analysis, and solution discussions.
• Experience in SmartCOMM migration is Plus
