Ot Developer (Opentext Exstream)

At Rehire, we are partnering with a global company to find an experienced OT Developer (OpenText Exstream) to join a high-impact international project. We're looking for a professional with extensive experience developing and maintaining OpenText Exstream solutions, who thrives in Agile environments and enjoys working across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and implement enhancements for new and existing applications.
  • Build and maintain solutions using OpenText Exstream and OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.
  • Configure and deploy OpenText Exstream applications in Linux environments.
  • Develop and implement automated unit and integration tests.
  • Follow software engineering best practices and contribute to Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.
  • Collaborate with QA teams and business users to validate solutions and resolve reported issues.
  • Perform code reviews and optimize code quality and application performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Prepare, package, and deploy application code across environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation while ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream and OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.
  • Experience configuring and deploying applications in Linux environments.
  • Strong scripting experience using Perl.
  • Solid understanding of XML.
  • Experience working across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of all phases of application development.
  • Experience conducting code reviews and optimizing application performance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (C1 or equivalent).

About the Position:

Work Model: 100% Remote (Latam)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Contract Type: 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
