Job Description

The Document Automation Specialist will enhance and maintain the document automation systems for all divisions and Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) customers. Will program and update data structures and their applications for documents to be imaged and managed, as required by business units. Monitor the integrity of document imaging data and systems, maintain infrastructures for supporting servers and network equipment, optimize corporate workflows through electronic contact management programming and application development. Essential functions are as followed: evaluate file and data structures for applications and set up for each division, coordinate design layout and automation of all necessary forms, coordinate programming to set up divisional systems, assist with establishing links with import/export data between data systems, configure and maintain HP Autonomy workflows and HP Exstream document creation, program and administer SQL databases and IIS websites, provide regular feedback regarding Document Imaging and Management projects to the Document Automation Team Lead, monitor software upgrades and enhancements working with vendors, install upgrades as directed by management and set up non-file oriented systems (carrier forms, Human Resources forms, legislative updates, Adobe PDF/FDF, Office Automation, etc.) as needed. Will also provide technical support for document automation systems, assist other members of the IT department, and any other duties as assigned by manager. 

Qualifications

Requirements 

Previous document imaging, relational database and excellent PC skills.

A minimum 2 years experience with ASP.NET, MS SQL, Java, XSL/XML, HTML and/ or SOAP.

A minimum of 1 year experience with Teleform, In. Vision (LiquidOffice) products, HP Autonomy or comparable workflow systems.

1 year of experience with HP Exstream products preferred.

Working experience with RightFax and Faxback system administration required.

Candidates will need to have SQL, Java, and at least one of these 3 skills: Teleform, LiquidOffice, or Autonomy.

Candidate should have Java and SQL development experience.

Must have strong problem solving and communication skills, as well as excellent organizational and planning skills.

Must be able to speak, read and write in English and be able to communicate at several different levels.

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Degree preferred, or extensive equivalent experience.
