Job description

Serve as a developer specializing in Open Text for a global organization in a hybrid day shift role designing and optimizing scalable customer communication solutions that improve client experience reduce operational risk and support efficient business processes without the need for travel responsibilities.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000/Year to $140,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex OpenText Exstream applications aligned to business and client requirements.
    • Lead and define the CCM roadmap including version upgrades and cloud-native implementations on hyperscalers.
    • Drive legacy migration projects from platforms such as Calligo / Documerge / Quadient to OpenText Exstream.
    • Manage high-volume delivery modules including sorting, bundling, inserters, and barcode handling.
    • Install, configure, and manage the Exstream cloud-native product suite in cloud environments.
    • Integrate Exstream with upstream and downstream systems; manage campaign outputs and web services.
    • Lead client and team interactions; act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders.
    Required Qualifications
    • 12+ years total IT experience with 10+ years on OpenText Exstream (Primary); Quadient Inspire knowledge required (Secondary).
    • Deep expertise in Exstream Cloud Native and implementation on hyperscaler platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
    • Proficiency across Exstream modules: Design Manager, Designer, Empower Editor, Content Author, Communication Designer, and Orchestration.
    • Strong experience in Exstream advanced features: advanced tables/charts, business rules/functions, multiple input formats, section data mapping, and Exstream web services.
    • Experience with high-volume delivery modules: sorting & bundling, inserters, barcodes, and campaign management.
    • Experience in Exstream version upgrade projects and legacy CCM migration projects.
    • Expertise in integrating Exstream with upstream/downstream systems; knowledge of messaging queues desirable.
    • Knowledge of other CCM tools (xPression, Oracle Documaker) and scripting languages; Mainframe experience desirable.
