Express Employment Professionals

Position Summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Employment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will recruit, interview, and place qualified candidates with local businesses while building strong relationships with both associates and client companies.

This position combines recruiting, customer service, problem-solving, and relationship management to help businesses find quality employees and job seekers find meaningful work.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Placement
  • Recruit candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Review applications, conduct interviews, and assess candidate qualifications.
  • Match candidates with job opportunities based on skills and client needs.
  • Coordinate onboarding, background checks, drug screens, and employment paperwork.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates.
Client & Associate Support
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and associates.
  • Respond to staffing requests and provide recruiting updates.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and address attendance, performance, and workplace concerns.
  • Promote safety and company policies.
Administrative Duties
  • Maintain accurate applicant, associate, and client records.
  • Update recruiting and applicant tracking systems.
  • Verify timecards and assist with payroll-related questions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Business Development
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
  • Assist with marketing and community outreach efforts.
