Job description

Overview:
Express Employment of River Falls is hiring multiple Assemblers for a client located right here in town. Experience is a plus, but entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply! This company is looking for dedicated employees with great attendance and communication skills. The facility is climate-controlled, and this is a mostly seated position.

2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday (1:30pm-12am)

Pay: $17/hour

Location: River Falls, WI

Job Duties:

  • Read, understand, and utilize various documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc.
  • Identify and assist in process improvement measures
  • Build wire harnesses from documentation
  • Crimp terminals on wire using hand tools
  • Cut wire to length using hand tools
  • Cut and crimp wire using automatic machines
  • Tinning and soldering
  • Apply labels, device IDs, and tie wires
  • Maintain a safe and organized work area
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School education or equivalent; or at least 6 months of continuous employment
  • Visual acuity (wire color and small print on wire)
  • Proficiency using precision measurement tools (tape measure, ruler, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as process instructions
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to work overtime depending on work load
