Position Title: AutoCAD Tutor 2 (Student Position)   Location: Grand Rapids, MI 49503   Department:

KCAD Interior Design

  Advertised Salary: $14.00   Summary of Position: AutoCAD and SketchUp tutor to assist Interior Design students with one-on-one tutoring as needed. Provide tutoring assistance outside of class for individuals enrolled in KCID 235 for the fall semester and KCID 250 in the spring semester. Tutoring arrangements must be approved by interior design faculty.   Position Requirements: Must be skilled in Basic AutoCAD commands and SketchUp. Student must have earned a B or higher in KCID 235 Workplace Design and KCID 250 Retail Design.   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Tutor current student(s) in basic AutoCAD skills including drawing, modifying, and template set-up using KCAD standards. Help students work within the model space and paper space realms of AutoCAD to organize and complete a small office project.
Tutor current student(s) in basic SketchUp model creation that includes creating groups and components, adding materials, creating video, and exporting visual documentation.
