CalSource ,an ATS company, is Upstate New York’s premier test equipment and gauge calibration lab, operated by people dedicated to metrology, quality, and integrity.

The Position:

CalSource is seeking an enthusiastic and personable Customer Service Representative.  Reporting to the General Manager at CalSource-Rochester, you'll play a vital role in our team. The individual in this role will split time between working at the client site and at the CalSource facility performing customer service duties, collections using our accounts receivable system, or other responsibilities, as needed.

The Customer Service Representative will follow a hybrid schedule, working 50% remotely and 50% on-site at our customer location in Newark, NY each week.

Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls and addressing customer inquiries.
  • Greeting clients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Providing basic administrative assistance for various computer systems used in the calibration laboratory.
  • Maintaining the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM).
  • Responding to customer service calls, emails, and web requests promptly and courteously.
  • Quoting and scheduling field service/onsite jobs to include the monthly schedule
  • Following up with customers on past due invoices
  • Performing shipping and receiving duties, as needed
  • Process calibration documents for technicians
  • Generating calibration quotes
  • Other duties and responsibility, as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 – 5 yrs relevant experience with a High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or electronic/mechanical product and/or services support highly desired
  • Exceptional customer service and phone skills
  • Some Account Receivables experience desired
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be personable and interact comfortably with clients and co-workers
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Efficient with Microsoft office, specifically Excel and Outlook
