Centrus is seeking an experienced security professional ready to expand their impact in a role central to protecting U.S. national security interests. As a Security Analyst specializing in Export Control Information, you'll operate at the intersection of technology, international safeguards, and federal security compliance-supporting programs that directly influence global nuclear security.

What You Will Do
As a trusted member of the Corporate Security team, you will:
โ€ข Lead compliance efforts for all Centrus export control activities
โ€ข Serve as a key liaison with DOE, DOS, and DOC on export authorization and 10 CFR Part 810 matters
โ€ข Track, manage, and report on export approvals across the enterprise
โ€ข Conduct security self-assessments and strengthen program performance
โ€ข Coordinate export control policies across multiple Centrus sites
โ€ข Provide guidance to strategic suppliers and internal partners
โ€ข Maintain expertise in export regulations, IAEA Additional Protocol, and related directives
โ€ข Train and certify ECI Reviewing Officials
โ€ข Assist with investigations, reporting, and documentation for security-related events
โ€ข Support protection of classified, proprietary, and controlled unclassified information
โ€ข Serve as an alternate FSO, OPSEC Coordinator, or IAEA AP Coordinator when needed

What You Will Bring
Required:
โ€ข Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-Clearance
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Security, Engineering, Physical Science, or equivalent experience
โ€ข Minimum 2 years as a qualified Export Control Reviewer
โ€ข Strong knowledge of U.S. export control regulations and best practices
โ€ข Experience writing clear, actionable technical documents
โ€ข Excellent verbal and written communication skills
โ€ข Solid proficiency with Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases)
Preferred:
โ€ข Experience with nuclear enrichment equipment or centrifuge technology
โ€ข Prior classification/declassification training
โ€ข Experience handling and safeguarding classified materials

Pay
Estimated Starting Base Salary Range 80,000 -100,000. This position is Bonus eligible. Centrus considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Candidates for positions requiring a security clearance are required to be tested for the absence of any illegal drug as defined in 10 CFR 707.4 prior to an offer of employment being made. In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
