This role ensures F‑35 international participation aligns with U.S. Government policy, National Disclosure Policy requirements, and established export licensing guidelines. The specialist contributes to the preparation of export materials, facilitates communication with partners, and maintains compliance across all assigned export activities.Duties & Responsibilities:The Export Compliance Specialist assists the government in facilitating export‑related policy activities, including preparing and coordinating presentations for committee review, interpreting export guidance, and maintaining accurate export‑related documentation.The Export Compliance Specialist engage with interagency partners involved in export licensing processes, ensuring timely coordination, clear communication, and proper handling of export policy matters.Coordinate across the JPO enterprise and with other government agencies to support certification of a National Disclosure Policy compliant air system for export to international partners.Review F‑35 export license requests and provide recommendations that ensure international participation remains aligned with U.S. government policy, disclosure requirements, and security protection standards.Support the preparation, tracking, and maintenance of export authorization documents, ensuring consistency with established export regulations and program policies.Assist in monitoring export‑related compliance activities, identifying policy or documentation gaps, and helping the government develop corrective actions when needed.Contribute to the planning and execution of export engagements, stakeholder coordination, and documentation uplift in support of programmatic export objectives.Export Compliance Specialist supports government export processes and program activities as directed.Other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):Knowledge of U.S. export control policies, National Disclosure Policy requirements, and interagency export licensing processes.Skilled in reviewing, analyzing, and recommending actions on export license requests to maintain compliance with U.S. Government policy guidelines.Ability to prepare export‑related documentation, presentations, and policy materials for committee review and government coordination.Knowledge of DoD and interagency roles in foreign military export processes, including documentation, approval channels, and compliance standards.Ability to coordinate effectively across government organizations, international partners, and internal JPO stakeholders to support export certification requirements.Demonstrated knowledge and experience with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) licensing applications and review process.
