Each document serves a specific purpose, such as verifying the contents of a shipment, proving ownership, or complying with customs regulations. Proper preparation and handling of export documents are crucial to avoid delays, fines, or the seizure of goods. The exact documents needed can vary depending on the type of product, the destination country, and trade agreements.
