Job description

Job Title: Inbound Desk Clerk
Location: Garden City
Pay Rate: Starting at $18 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 6:50am - Until
About Us: We are seeking a dedicated Inbound Clerk to join our team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an organized individual with expertise in Excel, Word, and import/export processes.
*Main Duties include but not limited to

  • Control our web yard by creating and sending container moves systematically to the jockey driver
  • Keep up with daily inbound shared spreadsheet using excel
  • Communicate with team through teams when containers are empty
  • Prepare work for verifiers by printing out the manifest for container to be offloaded/verified
  • Check manifest against our WMS correcting any errors if any
  • Verifying any errors against the freight on the floor
  • Communicating with and sending pictures accordingly to our customers
  • Keep up with the OS&D report
  • Communicate with onsite lumper coordinator throughout the day on the productivity taken place
  • Always manage and maintain a clean organized work area

*Must have experience in the following
  • Prior experience in warehousing logistics
  • Understands Inbound process
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Has self-control and can manage an organized area while working through fast-paced volume
  • Has computer skills (familiar with Microsoft office, teams)
  • Customer satisfaction (corresponding with customers accordingly via email)
  • Is knowledgeable with excel (can keep data up to date in real time,  utilize pivot table, build spreadsheets etc..)
