We currently have an opening for an Inside Sales Engineer. This individual is responsible for growing aftermarket revenue across the full Process Insights product portfolio while serving as the commercial owner of the PI install base across the Americas. This position is based in Houston, TX or Pittsburgh, PA (hybrid), reporting to the Director of Aftermarket with a focus on driving aftermarket growth through lifecycle management, customer engagement, and technical sales support.

This is a Aftermarket position that will collaborate with Field Service Engineers, Regional Sales Managers, Engineering, and Technical Support teams.

This role plays a critical part in driving our vision to partner with our customers to become their preferred process analytical solutions provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the Process Insight install base, maintaining a thorough understanding of installed equipment, site history, and customer needs across the Americas region.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to generate qualified aftermarket leads and drive revenue growth.
  • Design and present lifecycle management proposals including equipment upgrades, spare parts packages, and service/maintenance contracts.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to develop solutions for complex analyzer applications and customer challenges.
  • Travel to customer facilities to conduct site walk-downs, assess equipment condition, and identify aftermarket opportunities.
  • Engage customers through educational outreach activities such as lunch-and-learn sessions to strengthen relationships and promote PI products and services.
  • Partner closely with the field engineering team to qualify leads and ensure a consistent pipeline of aftermarket opportunities.
  • Apply PI values to tasks and responsibilities.

  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, actively identifying potential hazards, and promoting a culture of safety among the team.

Qualifying Attributes and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Industrial Technology or Chemistry also acceptable).
  • 2–5 years into a professional career (open to recent graduates and experienced professionals).
  • Experience in technical sales, aftermarket sales, or entrepreneurial / small‑business environments is a strong plus.
  • Up to 40% travel across the Americas.
  • Comfortable working with CRM systems, Microsoft Office tools, and internal sales/engineering platforms.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and have initiative to follow through on commitments with team and management.
