Role Title

Director of Analytics, Forecasting and Business Insights

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Data/Strategic Finance Analysts focused on Forecasting, Business Insights, and SEC reporting.
  • Forecast Gross Merchandise Sales outlook, shaping the market health narrative, influencing investment decisions, and leading investigations into business decisions.
  • Provide analytics support for SEC filings, earnings presentations, and investor communications, translating internal strategy into clear investor narratives.
  • Execute ad‑hoc projects to uncover new insights, deepen understanding of growth opportunities, and influence senior leadership decisions.
  • Collaborate with partner teams across product, marketing, engineering, and business units to deliver actionable insights.
  • Maintain and improve financial planning tools, systems, controls, and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience leading analytics, finance, business, or operational initiatives.
  • 5+ years of managing teams.
  • Strong track record of high‑impact strategic contributions with deep finance leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and either R or Python, with bonus experience in BigQuery, GCP, or cloud analytics environments.
  • Experience with forecasting techniques such as ARIMA, exponential smoothing, or time‑series decomposition.
  • Experience with Looker, Tableau, or other visualization tools.
  • Hands‑on experience in budgeting and forecasting at a company of comparable size.
Benefits

Salary range: $239,000.00 – $311,000.00. Eligible for equity package, annual performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits supporting you and your family.

This full‑time role reports to the Senior Director, Strategic Finance, and requires onsite presence in Brooklyn, NY, once or twice per week.
