Overview:

Due to continued growth, Discovery at Home is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Charlotte County, FL.

Part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered, up to 3 days per week.

Caseload / Patient Population:

The Occupational Therapist will primarily work home visits with the potential for some caseload within assisted and independent living communities.

The patient population is primarily geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, along with some Part B.

Compensation and Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $40 - $62 per hour, which increases based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule:

Work hours are flexible, with availability required Monday through Friday between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., subject to scheduling agreements with each patient. Weekend shifts are optional, but not required. No major holidays!

Job Requirements:

  • Eligible for FL state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Must have a current CPR certification.

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year of prior home care experience.

  • Part-time and PRN candidates will also be considered, up to 3 days per week.

  • Open to candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States.

  • Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
