Must have:

  • At least 1+ year of proven bookkeeping experience with a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles 
  • QuickBooks experience/expertise - web-based version 
  • "Expensify" knowledge or some type of expense reporting software 
  • Look to understand the "whys" in the business environment 
  • Possess good business skills, financial acumen, sound judgement and discernment, and a tendency towards attention to detail 

This is a PT role. 16-20 hours per week. 
In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior VP and President/COO to manage day-to-day financial transactions, streamline accounts payable/receivable, handle payroll, and maintain flawless financial records using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate will be a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with proven bookkeeping expertise, strong financial acumen, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Day in the Life
Documenting financial transactions in QuickBooks; recording day-to-day financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
Handle invoicing of all client accounts and provide coordination with clients for invoicing
Verification and emailing during the month, and answering customer questions. 
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. 
Reconcile company accounts, ensuring consistency between records. 
Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly/monthly/yearly reports from QuickBooks. 
Manage expense reports - review, approve, pay, and route to client invoice. 
Corporate credit card management. 
Prepare and process daily/weekly transactions - deposits and transfers, daily reconciliation. 
Payroll - new employee onboarding, open new states, deductions, tracking commission and bonuses. (ADP)
