Job description

Clearsite Industrial Services is a leader in hydrovac and vacuum excavation, providing safe dig solutions to the construction industry with a focus on safety, efficiency, and trusted partnerships. As an Account Manager based in Richmond, Virginia, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Clearsite’s presence and driving growth in your assigned territory. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met while upholding Clearsite’s commitment to operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to grow Clearsite’s market share within the assigned territory
  • Manage and expand customer relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and partner
  • Identify and pursue high-potential market segments for vacuum excavation services
  • Conduct site visits for bidding, inspections, and project preparation
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids for projects
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
  • Provide ongoing account management, including collections support as needed
  • Educate construction and safety stakeholders on Clearsite’s services and best practices

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in vacuum excavation/hydrovac, commercial underground construction, sewer/water line or underground utilities, equipment rental/trucking/fleet services, oil & gas, or environmental waste services
  • Experience leading sales and field operations teams or initiatives
  • Experience managing and growing customer accounts in a territory-based sales role
  • Experience selling to General Contractors, Utility Contractors, or infrastructure project customers
  • Basic computer and technology proficiency for day-to-day work
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform daily client and site visits
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Sales management experience
  • Practical operational field experience in an industrial or construction services environment
