Program Manager - Physical Therapist|Belmont Village Johns Creek | 4315 John Creek Way, Suwanee, GA 30024Lead an Established Outpatient Therapy Program

This is an opportunity to step into a rewarding leadership role, building and growing an established outpatient therapy program serving active older adults in a beautiful senior living community. Compensation Details
  • $48 to $53 per hour depending on experience, equivalent to approximately $99,800 to $110,200 annually depending on experience.
  • $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Available

What You Will Do
  • Lead and Grow the Program Develop strategies to expand the outpatient program, build caseloads, and launch special initiatives such as fitness or dementia focused programming. Build relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and the community to promote the program and support long term growth.
  • Lead the Team Guide and mentor a team of therapy staff, supporting hiring, performance development, and a positive, collaborative atmosphere. Provide ongoing education and in service training to staff and the broader community.
  • Guide Clinical Quality Maintain a clinical caseload and help ensure high quality therapy services in line with regulatory standards, including CARF and JCAHO. Review program effectiveness regularly and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage Day to Day Operations Oversee scheduling to ensure strong coverage for patients and therapists. Track assessment period data and maintain documentation in line with Medicare and company guidelines.
  • Support Your Team Through Challenges Help resolve patient, staff, or service related issues with open communication and a problem solving approach.
  • Maintain a Safe, Compliant Environment Stay current on regulations governing rehabilitation services and maintain a safe workplace in line with infection control and OSHA standards.
What You Bring

Degree in Physical Therapy license eligible 1 to 5 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or a related healthcare field Supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred, ideally within rehab therapy Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a multidisciplinary team Deep understanding of rehabilitation principles and patient care protocols Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage schedules, resources, and budgets Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and Medicare and Medicaid guidelines

Team Leadership & Management

  • Directly manage and supervise clinical therapy staff, including hiring, performance appraisals, and fostering a positive team atmosphere.

  • Investigate and resolve patient, staff, or service-related issues, ensuring open communication and problem-solving.
  • Provide ongoing education and in-service training to staff and community members.

Compliance & Safety

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations governing rehabilitation services.
  • Ensure a safe environment by complying with infection control, OSHA standards, and proper use of tools and equipment.

  • Education: Degree in required discipline (Physical, Occupational, Speech Therapy and/or Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Assisting).
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure as a PT/OT/SLP and/or PTA/COTA, or license eligible
  • At least 3–5 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or a related healthcare field.
  • Supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting preferred, ideally in rehab therapy
  • Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support staff.
  • Clinical Knowledge: Deep understanding of rehabilitation principles, practices, and patient care protocols.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, families, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills to address challenges and improve operations.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules, resources, and budgets efficiently.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and other applicable laws.
