Modern Family Lawย (MFL),ย a rapidly expanding national lawย firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking 3Lsย and recent graduatesย sitting for theJuly 2026 Bar examย orย theย February 2027ย Bar examย toย participateย inย MFL Academy's Residencyย Programย in one of our Colorado offices (Denver, Colorado Springs, or Fort Collins).ย Thisย role is hybrid, but you must sit for the Colorado Bar (no UBE score transfer), and plan toย reside within a reasonable commute to the office location.ย 

Residencyย Program Details:ย 

After sitting for the Bar exam,ย Residency participantsย willย join MFLย toย receive training inย substantive family law and courtroom advocacy.ย Residents will receiveย mentorship fromย the MFLย Learning & Developmentย departmentย and legalย teams,ย helpingย themย successfullyย transition to anย MFLย Associate Attorneyย positionย uponย passing theย Bar.ย

Compensation and Benefits:Salary Range $66,560-$130,000.This range is areasonably reliableestimate of the salary that this individual is expected toย receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factorspermittedby law.ย

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.ย 
  • Register for theย upcomingย Julyย or Februaryย Bar exam.ย 
  • Attain a passing score on the MPREย beforeย sitting for the Bar exam.ย 
  • Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.ย 
  • Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.ย 
  • Mock Trial experience is a plus.ย 
  • Submission of cover letter, law schoolย transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.ย
