Job description

RISE Pediatric Therapies is a growing organization that provides support to families of children birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs. Helping them to build on their child's strengths, and to enhance and promote the child's growth, development and learning skills in their natural environment is our focus. Early Intervention programs support families of children from birth to three years of age with disabilities or special developmental needs by assisting with learning developmental skills such as motor and language, facilitate engagement in activities, routines and events of everyday life.
PURPOSE:
The Clinical Director will be responsible for the recruitment and management of therapy staff. They are also
responsible for development and management of outreach initiatives, fostering community engagement and building
partnerships, establishing and maintaining relationships with professional programs and referral sources for recruitment of
new therapists and families. They will be responsible for providing guidance to staff and community outreach using
the company's two core objectives:
1. Exceptional Patient Experience: Rise Pediatric Therapies patient experience is of the utmost importance and is
their highest priority. Serving their clients and creating a system of support is their mission and the Director will be
responsible for leading the team and outreach efforts of the company to make sure they are providing the best possible
patient experience in all aspects of daily activities.
2. Company Culture: Rise Pediatric Therapies recognizes that culture is the lifeblood of the company and is vital to
strengthening and providing an exceptional patient experience. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for
maintaining and expanding upon their relaxed but enthusiastic professional work environment. This requires passion,
commitment to an open and honest communication process, servant leadership and being deeply engaged with
improving the lives of our employees and patients by improving the process of the operations of the company.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Maintain regulatory compliance to ensure the highest level of quality and patient outcomes.
• Implement policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
• Ensure work environments are adequate and safe.
• Ensure contractual compliance with various funding sources
• Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to team members.
• Effectively relay organizational information and updates to the team
• Ensure customer experience is improved through compliant and ethical operations.
• Maintain positive work culture and "system of support" for both staff and families by projecting a positive image
of the organization
• Oversee new therapists in their first year to receive SLP license
• Maintain a moderate caseload and provide direct therapeutic/clinical services to clients.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide positive leadership and team building based on respect, cooperation, and competence
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate and schedules are followed to provide positive patient care.
• Participate in the hiring and training of team members.
• Partner with all leadership/management teams to create/improve systems and processes intended to improve
financial results, service delivery, and/or administration.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships within the organization to facilitate open, honest, timely
communications and timely resolution of operational challenges.
• Reinforce brand standards and best practices within the organization.
• Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide direct clinical services to clients, maintaining a caseload and direct services at a ratio of 50% service/50%
supervisory duties. Ratio may adjust to accommodate needs related to growth of clinical supervisees and
program(s).
• Maintain quality, frequency and expectation of clinical documentation and client record as identified by RISE
policy, best practices and payer standards.
OUTREACH AND DEVELOPMENT:
• Manage relationships with existing referral source and community partners
• Foster relationships with potential new referral sources and community partners
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to expand the organization's reach and impact.
• Identify target audiences and create engagement plans tailored to their needs.
• Establish and oversee outreach programs, events, and initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, government agencies and businesses
• Represent the organization at community events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outreach aligns with organizational goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in therapy services.
• Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience with recruitment including advertising and marketing as well as interviewing and hiring new staff
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• A Master's Degree in Speech Therapy or Occupational Therapy. Licensure in Idaho, preferred.
• At least two years' experience with management, training, and development of staff
• Ability to communicate effectively in individual or group situations including effective listening skills
• Ability to build relationships and to communicate with multiple customers including the families receiving
support, service professionals, state personnel and others
• Ability to understand target clinical metrics and achieve results from the team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
