What You'll Do
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Supervise and mentor therapy technicians

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
  • Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
  • Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
  • Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
  • Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients
