Your future role at a glance

Location: Nashville, TN

Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas West 

Department: Cardiac Rehab

Schedule: PRN | Day Shift

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Design and supervise evidence-based exercise therapy using patient test data, medical status, and medication regimens.
  • Perform pre- and post-rehabilitation testing while monitoring physiological responses to adapt treatment plans.
  • Identify contraindications or abnormal responses and execute appropriate clinical interventions or medical referrals.
  • Deliver specialized health and exercise education to patients, staff, and the community through classes and public speaking.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
