How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Design and lead evidence-based exercise therapy plans that directly improve patient mobility and long-term recovery outcomes.
  • Evaluate and monitor patient physiological responses during rehabilitation to ensure every session is safe, effective, and tailored to their evolving medical needs.
  • Translate complex clinical data into actionable health education, empowering patients and their families to take ownership of their wellness journey.
  • Direct clinical interventions by identifying abnormal physical responses and coordinating with medical teams to provide immediate, life-saving care when necessary.
  • Uphold departmental excellence by overseeing daily operations and equipment integrity to ensure a seamless, high-quality environment for patient care.
What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Athletic Trainer credentialed from the Indiana Athletic Trainers Board preferred.
  • Certification specializing in Sports Medicine preferred.
  • Exercise Physiologist credentialed from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • Masters degree preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
  • Prior experience in cardiac stress testing, cardiology, rehabilitation or hospital-based diagnostics is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret ECG rhythms is preferred.
