About the Role
Gersh is seeking an exceptional, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant to support the Co-Head of our Unscripted TV/Alternative Media Department. This department manages everything from sports broadcasting to gameshows, as well as podcasts, reality TV, the digital space, NIL opportunities, and documentaries. We specialize in packaging TV shows by connecting talent with showrunners and producers that work behind the scenes to help create concepts of hit shows. The ideal candidate has a passion for representing top-tier talent in the business, is eager to execute brand deals and endorsements in the digital space, will be able to juggle constantly changing priorities, handle a wide range of administrative and executive support in a high-pressure environment, and work well within a team.
Duties
  • Manage a high volume of phone calls and emails from staff, clients, and client managers.
  • Prepare expense reports and coordinate travel as needed.
  • Maintain availability grid and send out submissions for all bookings and personal appearances.
  • Draft, send, and track all deal memos.
  • Effectively communicate and interact with high-profile clients, prospective clients, managers, and executives with the utmost professionalism.
  • Ad hoc duties for projects as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong interest in the unscripted and alternative media space.
  • Prior full-time and/or internship experience in unscripted preferred.
  • Ability to make sound decisions efficiently and effectively using critical thinking and practical approaches.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to make a two-year commitment is strongly preferred.

Compensation
