Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and transformation of a cloud-based capital planning and construction management platform. The ideal candidate will have direct experience with Aurigo Masterworks or a comparable construction/capital project management information system (PMIS).

This role is ideal for someone who understands both construction/capital project processes and enterprise technology implementations and can effectively bridge Construction/Engineering, Finance, IT, business users, and software vendors.

The successful candidate will lead the program from requirements and process design through configuration, integration, testing, training, change management, and go-live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Aurigo Masterworks or a comparable capital project/construction management platform.
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to define current-state and future-state processes and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements.
  • Translate construction and capital project business requirements into system requirements and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate system configuration, integrations, and data migration activities with internal teams and software vendors.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource requirements.
  • Lead testing and UAT, including test planning, defect tracking, resolution, and business sign-off.
  • Coordinate user training, communications, and change management activities to support adoption.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate program governance, reporting, decision-making, and escalation processes.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings and ensure clear ownership and accountability across workstreams.
  • Partner with Construction/Engineering, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other business functions to ensure the solution supports the full capital project lifecycle.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Lead the organization through implementation, go-live, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Provide executive-level status reporting, including progress, risks, decisions, dependencies, and recommendations.
Capital Project / Construction Process Areas
  • Capital planning and budgeting
  • Project controls
  • Project costs and forecasting
  • Contracts and procurement
  • Change orders
  • Scheduling

The ideal candidate will understand several of the following
  • Capital planning and budgeting

  • Document management
  • Field activities and workflows
  • Project approvals

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of project or program management experience, with significant experience leading enterprise technology implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Aurigo Masterworks is highly preferred.
  • Experience with a comparable construction, capital project management, or PMIS platform will be strongly considered.
  • Strong understanding of construction and/or capital project processes.
  • Experience leading multiple phases of a systems implementation, including:
  • Requirements gathering
  • Configuration
  • Integrations
  • Testing/UAT
  • Training
  • Change management
  • Go-live
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs involving business and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing software vendors and implementation partners.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions in a matrixed environment.
Preferred Experience
  • e-Builder
  • Procore
  • Other enterprise construction or capital project management/PMIS platforms

Experience working with government agencies, transportation organizations, utilities, infrastructure owners, universities, engineering organizations, or large construction programs is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not simply a traditional IT Project Manager. They understand how large construction and capital programs operate and can translate those business processes into technology requirements and an executable implementation plan.

They are comfortable sitting between Construction/Engineering, Finance, IT, vendors, and business users, bringing structure to complex initiatives and driving the organization from requirements through successful adoption and go-live.

  • Aurigo Masterworks experience is preferred, but not required if the candidate has successfully led a comparable construction/capital PMIS implementation and possesses strong capital project domain knowledge.
