Through a streamlined 3-step process—consultation, design, and execution—the company provides end-to-end solutions from initial assessment through installation and rebate completion. Clients span industrial, warehouse, retail, commercial, office, hospitality, municipal, and educational environments, offering broad exposure for energy sales professionals.

Role Description The Commercial Energy Sales Representative – LED & Solar will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities with commercial and institutional clients in Roanoke, VA and surrounding areas. This contract, hybrid role combines on-site client visits and project inspections with some work-from-home activities such as prospecting, follow-up, and proposal development. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, conducting energy-efficiency consultations, gathering site and usage data, and presenting tailored LED and solar solutions that align with client operational needs and budgets. The role involves coordinating with internal engineering and project management teams to develop designs, proposals, and financing options; preparing and delivering presentations; and guiding clients through contracts, installations, and rebate processes. The representative will maintain a pipeline of opportunities, achieve sales targets, and build long-term relationships that support repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

  • Strong commercial sales and business development skills, with experience prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing a sales pipeline.
