Job description

Position Overview

Essnova Solutions is seeking Senior Mission Advocates to support NGA's PEO-GG Collections Management Office and Data Services Office.

The Senior Mission Advocate will directly support PEO-GG leadership and strategic initiatives by drafting, editing, and preparing executive-level communications addressing complex mission topics. The position combines strategic communications, executive writing, visual communications, stakeholder engagement, and mission advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, edit, and prepare communications addressing complex NGA mission topics.
  • Execute strategic communications initiatives in accordance with PEO-GG leadership intent.
  • Develop executive-level briefings, talking points, reports, official correspondence, articles, and related products.
  • Review communications for clarity, logic, grammar, style, accuracy, and strategic alignment.
  • Develop graphical and visual content for senior and executive-level audiences.
  • Develop strategic engagement and communication plans.
  • Collaborate with NGA subject matter experts to gather and synthesize technical and mission information.
  • Produce accurate visual and narrative products supporting PEO-GG strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX personnel to maintain consistent design and presentation across PEO-GG products.
  • Manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced mission environment while consistently delivering precise, error-free products.

Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex IC or DoW Mission IT capabilities using multiple communication tools for stakeholders and oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic engagement and communication plans.
  • Demonstrated experience developing talking points, briefings, official correspondence, and articles for executive-level management.
  • Demonstrated specialized IC or DoD experience producing visualizations and communications within applicable publication policies.
  • Current Top Secret clearance and eligibility for favorable NGA adjudication for SCI access.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university.
  • Specialized experience with NGA and/or another IC agency's missions and communications policies.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence principles.
  • Knowledge of PGC/PGD systems.
  • Knowledge of PEO-GG systems.

Location: NGA Washington / Fort Belvoir, VA area
Work Arrangement: Primarily onsite; minimally available Government-approved telework.
Travel: Infrequent CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required
