Consultant Executive Compensation and Benefits

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Here's What You Need

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field required or 

    5 years related experience in lieu of degree required 

  • 2 years compensation experience required 
  • 2 years executive compensation and benefits experience preferred 
  • CCP - Certified Compensation Professional upon hire preferred 
  • PHR - Professional in Human Resources upon hire preferred 
     

What You Will Do
Reports to the Director of Executive Compensation and Benefits and supports the design, administration, analysis, and governance of THR's executive compensation and benefit programs. Provides analytical, operational, and project support to help ensure executive compensation programs are market competitive, compliant, accurately administered, and aligned with organizational and Board-approved priorities.

  • Supports the executive compensation function by conducting research, preparing analyses, maintaining program documentation, and coordinating key activities related to executive compensation and benefit programs. Partners with the Director, internal stakeholders, external consultants, legal counsel, and HR/Finance partners to support accurate and timely execution of executive compensation processes.
     
  • Assists with the administration of annual and long-term incentive programs, including data collection, award calculations, participant tracking, performance measure documentation, communication support, and preparation of materials for review by executive leadership, the Governance Committee, and the Board of Trustees. Ensures information is complete, accurate, and organized to support informed decision-making.
     
  • Coordinates executive compensation market review activities by gathering and validating data, working with independent compensation consultants, analyzing market trends, preparing comparison materials, and summarizing findings for Director review. Supports development of recommendations by providing clear, accurate, and well-documented analysis. 
     
  • Provides support for executive compensation and benefit plan governance, including maintaining plan documents, monitoring regulatory updates, researching compliance requirements, tracking plan changes, and assisting with preparation of Board-level and leadership materials. Supports communication of approved program changes to executives and helps ensure consistent implementation across applicable programs..
