UX Content StrategistPosition Overview

We are seeking an experienced UX Content Strategist to play a critical role in designing digital experiences that positively impact employees, advisors, clients, and other key users. This role takes a holistic approach to content across the digital experience, partnering closely with UX researchers, designers, product managers, accessibility specialists, and cross-functional stakeholders to create clear, intuitive, and user-centered experiences.

  • Familiarity with design systems, content governance, and content standards.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to consistency across digital experiences.

  • Experience managing multiple projects and navigating ambiguity effectively.
  • Consistent adherence to established records management processes and Jira intake workflows.

ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & UX Writing
  • Develop clear, concise, and user-focused content for digital products, including:
    • User interface content and microcopy
    • Support and service tools
    • Knowledge base content
    • Product-related communications and guidance
  • Create content strategies that align with user needs, business goals, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and tone across products and channels.
Collaboration & Research
  • Partner with UX Strategists, Researchers, Designers, Product Managers, and Accessibility Specialists to understand user needs and translate insights into meaningful experiences.
  • Participate in research activities and leverage findings to inform content recommendations.
  • Make content decisions based on user testing, analytics, and research insights.
Governance & Content Management
  • Conduct content audits and maintain content inventories and change histories.
  • Ensure content complies with accessibility standards, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Contribute to content governance practices and design system standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships across product, UX, legal, compliance, and business teams.
  • Facilitate discussions and gain alignment on content decisions.
  • Present content strategies, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams.
Education & ExperienceRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Advertising, English, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience creating digital content, with a strong focus on UX content strategy and UX writing.
  • Demonstrated success leading content strategy initiatives from discovery through delivery.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly, think strategically, and navigate changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS).
  • Knowledge of information architecture and interaction design principles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Jira and digital collaboration tools.
  • Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Portfolio demonstrating UX writing and content strategy work, including at least 2-3 relevant work samples.

Portfolio submission is required. Candidates should provide a portfolio, professional website, or work samples showcasing UX writing and content strategy expertise.

Pay and Benefits
