Job description

Pay Range:

$83,400.00 - $137,100.00

Job Purpose

BioPharma Account Executive, Spatial Biology Division is a highly specialized scientific sales role focused on selling advanced spatial biology, genomics, and transcriptomics solutions to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. The position combines account management, technical consulting, and scientific discussions with researchers and R&D leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory and account strategies to achieve sales growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within biopharma and biotechnology accounts.
  • Be able to deliver scientific presentations and technical consultations on Bio-Techne's spatial biology and transcriptomics solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across customer organizations.
  • Leverage scientific expertise to drive consultative sales and support complex research applications.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to address customer needs and ensure successful outcomes.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer activities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent the Bio-Techne brand and innovative technologies with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-focused approach.

Minimum Qualification

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related life sciences discipline.

Skills & Experiences:

  • Minimum of 2 years of scientific sales experience, with a strong track record supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers.
  • Results-driven and highly motivated professionals with strong business development skills, a competitive mindset, and a passion for acquiring new customers and driving continuous growth.
  • Experience in Cell & Gene Therapy, RNAi, ASO, CRO services, biomarker discovery, target validation, or related life science solutions is highly preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • List working conditions - This is a remote, field-based position that combines home office work with regular travel to customer sites, conferences, and industry events to support client engagement, and account management activities.
