Job description

Salary: $30/hr

At Arux Group, we protect what matters most: our people, our property, and our community. We are looking for highly skilled, tactically proficient security professionals who thrive in dynamic, high-stakes environments with limited information and short-notice demands.
If you are a seasoned security specialist with strong judgment, tactical mindset, and the ability to deliver professional security solutions in both armed and unarmed settings, this is your opportunity to join our Advanced Response Team (ART) within the Corso Program.
What You Will Do

  • Rapidly respond to short-notice contracts and emerging client needs with professionalism and adaptability.
  • Provide low-level executive protection support, access control, and threat mitigation for events and assignments.
  • Conduct patrols, monitor premises, and control access points while maintaining a calm, authoritative presence.
  • Identify potential threats and develop practical, security-minded solutions in complex or fluid environments.
  • Support close protection operations, backfill static security teams as needed, and serve as team leads for larger events.
  • Monitor cameras and security systems with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Document incidents thoroughly and communicate clearly with clients, team members, and leadership.
  • Respond effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies while coordinating with emergency services when required.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while enforcing policies consistently and fairly.
  • Maintain readiness for both covert and overt operations in armed or unarmed capacities.

Schedule
Flexible scheduling including swing, night, and variable shifts to support rapid-response contracts. Availability for short-notice deployments is essential. We work to support work-life balance where possible while meeting client demands.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of security experience, with at least 2 years in an armed role.
  • Valid state-issued armed security license (OR or WA).
  • Willing to obtain the second state license within 90 days of hire.
  • Valid Concealed Handgun License (CHL) for the state you are armed in, with willingness to obtain the reciprocal license within 90 days.
  • Valid state-issued drivers license with clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (higher education or military/law enforcement background preferred).
  • Exceptional physical fitness, maturity, and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a service-oriented yet tactically sound mindset.
  • Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and sound judgment.

Previous low level executive protection, rapid-response, or high-threat environment experience is highly valued. We are building this team as a development path toward the Fossa Program for top performers.

Why Join Arux Group

The ART serves as the flexible bridge between our standard Corso operations and elite Fossa teams. As an Advanced Security Specialist, you will receive premium compensation, specialized training alongside Fossa, and clear opportunities for internal advancement.

Compensation

  • Call-out pay for short-notice deployments
