Salary: $85,000-$100,000

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Executive Chef to join our culinary leadership team at one of Providence's premier upscale fine dining destinations. This is a working chef role designed for a culinary professional who leads from the kitchen, not from the sidelines. If you bring a creative vision for menu design, a passion for exceptional cuisine, and a proven record in fine dining, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As Executive Chef, you will take an active, hands-on role in daily kitchen operations while leading a skilled culinary team in delivering extraordinary dining experiences. You will have the creative freedom to design and evolve our menu, drawing on locally and seasonally sourced ingredients to craft dishes that define our restaurant's identity. This is a rare opportunity to leave your mark on a respected fine dining establishment within a multi-venue hospitality group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Design: Develop creative, seasonally inspired menus that reflect the standards and identity of an upscale fine dining establishment
  • Daily Operations: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, execution, and presentation across all kitchen functions
  • Team Leadership: Train, develop, and schedule kitchen staff to cultivate a positive, high-performance work environment
  • Inventory Management: Oversee food ordering, inventory control, and supplier relationships to ensure consistency and cost efficiency
  • Staff Development: Foster professional growth and sustain team morale through mentorship and clear communication

Requirements

  • 3+ years of executive chef experience in high-volume fine dining, required
  • Demonstrated creativity in menu development and culinary concept design
  • Willingness and ability to work hands-on in the kitchen alongside your team
  • Proven track record of operational success and team leadership
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example
  • A commitment to trust, integrity, and genuine passion for the guest experience
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and effective under pressure

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary $85,000-$100,000 plus bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid training
  • Flexible scheduling options

Work Environment

  • Hands-on fine dining kitchen with a skilled supporting team, including experienced sous chefs
  • Creative autonomy to shape and evolve the menu
  • Access to locally and seasonally sourced, premium-quality ingredients
  • A supportive, excellence-driven culture that values your growth and quality of life

Our Commitment

We take pride in delivering the finest dining experiences in Providence, and we are committed to building a team that shares that standard. If you are a working chef with the creativity, experience, and leadership to elevate our kitchen, apply today.
