Bluebeam is seeking a strategic and operationally focused Global Controller in our Dallas, Texas office, to lead accounting operations across our Build Division. This role will oversee global financial reporting, consolidations, compliance, internal controls, systems optimization, and accounting transformation initiatives across a complex international environment. The ideal candidate brings deep technical accounting expertise, strong global leadership experience, and a forward-thinking approach to financial systems and AI-enabled process improvement. This position will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders across finance, operations, tax, legal, and IT.
What You'll Do
Global Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Oversee all global accounting functions for the Build Division, including day-to-day operations and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
  • Lead timely and accurate financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS
  • Manage complex multi-entity consolidations across multiple currencies and international jurisdictions
  • Ensure the preparation of consolidated financial statements and executive-level financial reporting
  • Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
  • Serve as the primary liaison for external audits, including audit preparation, documentation, and remediation efforts
  • Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and tax obligations
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and process documentation

Systems & Financial Transformation
  • Lead the implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of NetSuite ERP across the Build Division
  • Support future migration efforts from NetSuite to Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives across accounting and finance operations
  • Partner with IT and business intelligence teams to improve system integrations, reporting capabilities, and data accuracy
  • Evaluate and implement scalable financial technologies that improve operational efficiency and financial visibility

AI & Financial Technology Innovation
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning across financial processes, including:
  • Accounts payable automation
  • Revenue recognition
  • Forecasting and predictive analytics
  • Expense management
  • Anomaly detection
  • Implement AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
  • Establish governance frameworks to support AI compliance, data privacy, auditability, and security
  • Stay current on emerging financial technologies and evaluate business applicability
  • Train and support finance team adoption of AI tools and analytics capabilities

Strategic Finance Leadership
  • Partner with FP&A, treasury, tax, legal, and operational teams to align financial strategy and execution
  • Support acquisitions, integrations, and divestitures from an accounting and controllership perspective
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making and business growth
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, reporting packages, and financial analyses for leadership and key stakeholders across the Nemetschek Group

Team Leadership & Development
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing global accounting team across multiple regions and time zones, including partnership with the Center of Excellence team in India
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development
  • Establish clear organizational structures, responsibilities, and succession planning initiatives
  • Lead change management and process improvement efforts across the finance organization

What We're Looking For
  • CPA required
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
  • Extensive experience in global accounting and controllership leadership roles
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP with working knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience managing global consolidations across international entities and currencies
  • Advanced proficiency with NetSuite ERP and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, integrations, and system architecture concepts
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with strong ownership, integrity, and accountability
  • Experience leading global teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam's Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. Base Salary Range: $213,000 - $270,000 + Annual Bonus Incentive
