We are seeking a highly motivated and self driven Accounting Manager to lead the execution of the accounting and financial analysis activities for Agile Product Solutions. Agile Product Solutions, focuses on optimizing the methanol supply to the KII asset base and developing a third party supply and marketing business in methanol. Position Responsibilities: 10.00% - Reporting: Prepare delinquency and bankruptcy reporting that is not prepared by Third Party. Responsible for IRS 1099 A and C filing annually. 10.00% - Compliance: Ensures practices and procedures comply with applicable collections and bankruptcy rules. 15.00% - Make changes 25.00% - Cash management in this changes 15.00% - C++ programming 5.00% - Reporting Experience Non Essential Functions: To ensure the Credit Union's books and general ledger accounts are always in balance and current. To ensure all activities within the department are carried out within the prescribed time frames and with minimal errors. To maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated staff, sufficient to meet daily accounting demands. To accomplish all assigned projects in an effective and professional manner. Keeping management informed of all problematic areas. To provide informed, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates. To note observations of employee performance into appropriate reporting tool, as well as, give to and receive feedback from employee. To complete performance reviews within the prescribed time frame. To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department. Knowledge, Skills & Ability: Experience - Two years to five years of similar or related experience. Education - A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school. Other Skills - Functional with spreadsheets and word processing software. Basic understanding of accounting procedures. Certifications - C++ Certification necessary Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 5-10 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to travel up to 3 times per month. Additional Information: Additional info Job Advertisement: The Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to accounting functions and financial reporting. This position will be responsible for daily, weekly and monthly accounting tasks and activities. The Accounting Manager is also expected to make recommendations to the CEO for developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Accounting Manager supervises one staff accountant. This position must meet tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation and financial reporting.
