Job description

Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, great ideas have a way of becoming great
products, services, and customer experiences very quickly. Bring passion and
dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish.
The people here at Apple don't just create products - they create the kind of wonder
that's revolutionized entire industries. It's the diversity of those people and their ideas
that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing
technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple, and help us leave the
world better than we found it.
The Environment and Supply Chain Innovation team exists to uphold Apple's values
across our global supply chain. Stakeholder engagement, communication, and
storytelling are critical to supporting our mission as we raise awareness and inspire
advocacy and action across Apple and our industry.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Program Manager
to lead key programs that support our work on labor and human rights - championing,
driving, and coordinating stakeholder initiatives, and managing the relationships,
convenings, and communications that bring our efforts to life. This role calls for
someone who thrives on execution - comfortable contributing to strategy, but
energized above all by doing the hands-on work and managing the details that move
our efforts forward.
Description
You will manage the engagement programs that support our labor and human rights
work, overseeing the full cycle of our external partner convenings and expert
roundtables - from shaping goals and approach through planning, budgets, logistics,
execution, and follow-through. You will manage relationships with key stakeholders,
contribute to the strategy for our partnerships, and track and present project
performance to leadership. You will also contribute to the development of our public
reporting, as well as responses to supply chain inquiries and other ad hoc requests.
Your work will engage external expert audiences - including partner organizations,
human rights experts, and other stakeholders shaping this field. Working across Apple,
including with public relations, government affairs, legal, and our subject matter experts,
as well as our external partners, you will balance stakeholders and drive priorities to
keep our work moving forward.
This work sits within Apple's operations organization and calls for a working
understanding of global supply chains and manufacturing. It happens at a fast
operational tempo, where priorities evolve quickly and execution matters. As our work
evolves, you may take on additional programs and priorities across the team's labor and
human rights portfolio.
Success will depend on being able to effectively manage many moving pieces, build
and sustain strong relationships, navigate complex cross-functional efforts, and engage
credibly with technical subject matter to help tell the story of the people across our
global supply chain.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of relevant experience
BA/BS degree in public policy, international relations, communications, or related field is preferred
Experience managing stakeholder and partner relationships, and coordinating engagement across multiple organizations
Demonstrated experience leading complex programs end to end, including planning, logistics, budget management, and execution
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write and edit clearly and develop polished materials for varied audiences
Deep experience in labor and human rights, including familiarity with the regulatory landscape and an understanding of global supply chains
Experience working in cross-functional teams, resolving issues, building consensus, and working toward agreements
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to credibly represent an organization in external forums and with expert audiences
Comfortable developing presentations and briefings for technical experts and executives
Experience working with grants or consultant contracts to deliver outstanding results on time and within budget
Can flex between understanding and shaping the big picture, to focusing on the details
Experience coordinating or supporting the production of reports or similar deliverables
Ability to manage and organize multiple projects with competing priorities and different timescales
Interest and capacity to quickly engage with new subject matter areas
Ability to operate and collaborate at all levels of the organization, including working directly with senior executives
Demonstrated experience working effectively across global time zones and with culturally diverse, international teams
Proficient in Pages, Keynote, and Numbers
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
