Job description

We're partnering with a rapidly expanding, multi-location consumer services company seeking an experienced Controller to help strengthen and scale its finance function. With an aggressive growth trajectory and operations spanning multiple states, this role offers the opportunity to play a key leadership role in a fast-moving environment.

This position works closely with executive leadership, influencing financial decision-making, improving processes, and ensuring the organization has the reporting structure needed to support continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of financial statements, reporting packages, and performance analyses for senior leadership.
  • Oversee accounting operations, internal controls, compliance activities, and payroll processes.
  • Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital requirements.
  • Develop, mentor, and lead an accounting team while driving accountability and professional growth.
  • Create and maintain financial models to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate financial results, identify trends, and provide actionable business recommendations.
  • Continuously improve accounting procedures, policies, and financial processes to support scalability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Advanced degree, CPA, or MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of progressive accounting, auditing, or finance experience.
  • Prior experience serving as a Controller or leading a full-cycle accounting function preferred.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on NetSuite experience.
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Proven success managing accounting teams and developing staff.
  • Demonstrated expertise in forecasting, cash management, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a growth-oriented environment.

Pay Details: $72.12 to $81.73 per hour
