Become a part of the “strength within.” Hexcel is currently seeking a Director – Product Management, Aerospace Honeycomb Core for our Casa Grande, AZ location.

Job Overview

The Director is a strategic business leader responsible for defining and executing product portfolio strategy to drive growth, profitability, and customer value. The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

  • Define and execute the product portfolio strategy and roadmap, aligning investments with business objectives, market opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Lead portfolio prioritization, capital allocation, and resource decisions to maximize growth, profitability, and customer value.
  • Own product lifecycle management, including new product development, commercialization, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life planning.
  • Drive product line performance by achieving revenue, margin, pricing, and market share objectives.
  • Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into actionable product strategies and business plans.
  • Partner across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to deliver business results and successful product outcomes.
  • Build executive-level customer and industry relationships while identifying emerging technologies, market trends, and new growth opportunities.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor product management talent while aligning cross-functional teams, measuring portfolio performance, and driving a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive product or program management, product marketing, or related business leadership experience.
  • Aerospace industry experience highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success leading product strategy, portfolio management, and cross-functional initiatives in a complex business environment.
  • Experience managing product profitability, pricing strategies, and commercial performance.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Strategic, results-oriented leader with strong business acumen and the ability to balance long-term vision with operational execution.
  • Exceptional communicator and influencer who builds trusted relationships and drives alignment across all organizational levels.
  • Proven people leader with experience developing talent and leading high-performing teams in complex, matrixed environments.
  • Adaptable and customer-focused executive with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and change leadership capabilities.
