HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR

Company: Point Brands | Arby’s Franchise Organization

Location: Hybrid

Reports To: CEO

Direct Reports: HR Manager, with the opportunity to build and develop

the HR team as the organization continues to grow

Position Overview

Point Brands is a growing multi-unit franchise restaurant organization operating Arby’s locations

across multiple markets. With 50+ QSR locations and continued growth ahead, we

are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to lead and strengthen

our people strategy while supporting the day-to-day needs of our restaurant

operations.

This role will serve as the strategic leader of the Human Resources function and work closely with

our CEO, leadership team, Operations, and current HR Manager. The HR Director

as the organization grows.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on. We are looking for someone who understands the

fast-paced nature of multi-unit restaurant operations and is comfortable moving

between long-term planning and the everyday HR needs of a large hourly workforce.

Key Responsibilities

HR Leadership &

Strategy

  • Develop and execute an HR strategy that supports our current 50+ location footprint and continued organizational growth.
  • Partner with the CEO and leadership team on workforce planning, organizational development, retention, and people initiatives.
  • Evaluate current HR processes and infrastructure and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Build, develop, and mentor the HR team as organizational needs grow.
  • Establish and monitor key HR metrics, including turnover, time-to-hire, retention, internal promotions, and compliance trends.
  • Provide leadership and support to the HR Manager while ensuring day-to-day HR operations remain effective and responsive.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Provide leadership and oversight for employee relations matters, workplace investigations, corrective action, and higher-level employee escalations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple states and jurisdictions, including wage and hour requirements, FLSA, FMLA, EEOC, and other employment regulations.
  • Develop, maintain, and consistently apply HR policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to address employee concerns and support effective people management throughout the organization.
  • Identify potential employment-related risks and recommend appropriate solutions.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Develop recruiting strategies to support high-volume restaurant hiring and reduce frontline turnover.
  • Strengthen recruiting and succession planning for key leadership positions, including General Managers, District Managers, and corporate leadership roles.
  • Build talent pipelines and identify opportunities to promote and develop employees from within the organization.
  • Partner with Operations to understand staffing needs and develop practical recruiting solutions for individual markets.
  • Continue strengthening Point Brands' reputation as an employer of choice within the markets we serve.

Training, Development & Culture

  • Develop structured onboarding and training programs that support new hires and restaurant leadership.
  • Create development pathways that provide hourly employees and managers with opportunities for advancement.
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, retention, accountability, and company culture.
  • Support a consistent, performance-driven culture across multiple locations while maintaining alignment with Arby’s brand standards and expectations.

Compensation, Benefits & HR Systems

  • Oversee and continuously evaluate employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • Benchmark compensation, incentive, and bonus programs to help maintain competitiveness within our markets.
  • Oversee HR technology, including HRIS, applicant tracking, onboarding, and performance management systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology, reporting, and automation.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience within multi-unit restaurants, QSR, hospitality, retail, or another high-volume distributed workforce environment.
  • Experience supporting a large hourly workforce across multiple locations and states.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience building or improving HR processes, policies, programs, and teams within a growing organization.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, and developing HR professionals.
  • Strong background in employee relations, investigations, talent acquisition, retention, and performance management.
  • Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, and performance management platforms.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at every level of the organization, from restaurant team members and managers to senior leadership.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities may evolve as the organization grows.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $130,000–$150,000, based on experience and qualifications

Bonus: Performance and growth-based incentive opportunity

Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and technology allowance
