JOB TITLE: Account Executive (Salary + Uncapped Commission)
REPORTS TO: General Manager
LOCATION: San Diego, 92121
JOB TYPE: Full Time
COMPENSATION: Base Salary + Monthly Expense Allowance + Uncapped Commission

We are the leading wholesale flooring providers in the country --- we provide flooring installation services to the multi-family industry (apartments, student housing) and to the growing Single Family Rental Homes market.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role will focus on generating maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within the multi-family/apartment industry by effectively selling flooring products and installation services.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Sustaining a pipeline of new business through creative prospecting.
  • Demonstrating products and services to existing accounts and potential new customers, and assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Providing all necessary information for each new account/customer.
  • Providing floor plans and pricing for all accounts/customers via customer templates.
  • Promptly addressing customer concerns, complaints and problems.
  • Setting and achieving monthly and quarterly goals.
  • Performing random job site inspections and reporting results to the Installation department.
  • Maintaining an organized sample/showroom and sales office.
  • Reporting to management any information pertinent to competitive pricing and/or changes in the competitive landscape.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Highly energetic with a strong hunter mentality.
  • Coachable, with the willingness and ability to internalize instructions and take actionable steps to better serve our customers and grow the business.
  • Prior multi-family sales experience is preferred, but is not required.
  • Strong individual contributor who also thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to comfortably deal with ambiguities, and to achieve goals while regularly functioning independently.
  • Positively persistent customer focus - strives to partner with customers and add value to the relationship.
  • Strong time management skills, with an excellent ability to prioritize, organize, follow up and follow through.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Gmail, Google Docs and/or Google Sheets.
  • Ability to conduct business using various remote tools, as needed (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Prior prospecting experience and success in closing new business in a field-based sales role is a plus, but is not required.
  • Flooring product and/or industry knowledge preferred, but is not required.
  • A clean driving record, your own reliable transportation, and the ability to travel daily in your vehicle to various customer sites within the assigned territory are essential requirements of the job.
