What is an executive executive?

Executive Executives are high-level leaders responsible for guiding an organization's overall strategy, making critical business decisions, and overseeing senior management teams. They often hold titles such as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), or President. Their primary duties include setting company goals, ensuring profitability, managing stakeholder relationships, and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations. Executive Executives play a crucial role in shaping the organization’s culture and direction. They require strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

What are some common challenges faced by executives when leading cross-functional teams?

Executives often face the challenge of aligning diverse teams with varying priorities and expertise towards a unified organizational goal. Balancing strategic decision-making with effective communication is essential, as misunderstandings between departments can slow progress. Additionally, executives must frequently manage conflicting interests and ensure transparency to foster trust and collaboration. Successfully navigating these challenges requires strong leadership, adaptability, and a commitment to ongoing relationship-building with stakeholders across the organization.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an executive, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Executive, you need strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities, often supported by an advanced degree such as an MBA and extensive management experience. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, data analytics tools, and financial management software is typically required. Exceptional communication, emotional intelligence, and adaptability are standout soft skills in this role. These skills and qualities are crucial for effectively guiding organizations, driving growth, and managing complex business challenges.

About the role

This is not your average sales gig. At Nakisa, we're building the future of AI-powered enterprise software, and we're doing it with an elite team of engineers, product minds, and sales professionals who love to win. We sell into the world's most recognizable brands in industries like fashion, retail, pharma, oil & gas, airlines, consumer goods, and finance. Our inbound engine is strong, our tech is proven, and the market demand is massive. We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive who can own the room, drive boardroom-level conversations, and close serious business with serious companies. In this role, you will sell globally, not regionally — building relationships and closing enterprise deals across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and APAC.

What you'll be doing

  • Drive the full sales cycle - from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing high-value contracts with (Fortune 1000/Global 2000 clients).
  • Build trusted, strategic relationships with C-suite leaders and top-level decision makers.
  • Shape account strategies across multiple verticals, influencing how global companies solve complex business challenges.
  • Work inbound and outbound opportunities (roughly 70/30) with the support of a strong marketing engine and a healthy pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Leverage a modern sales and marketing tech stack to engage prospects and accelerate deals.
  • Collaborate with experts in business development, marketing, and value engineering to craft compelling, boardroom-ready business cases.
  • Adopt and leverage generative AI tools to enhance prospecting, engagement, and deal execution, while positioning Nakisa's AI-driven SaaS value with clients.
  • Consistently exceed quota by bringing creativity, confidence, and execution to every stage of the sales process.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of SaaS sales experience (enterprise preferred), with a track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and navigate complex deal cycles.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, with the ability to read the room and deliver messaging that resonates with every audience.
  • Strategic and commercial acumen you can see both the business problem and the business opportunity.
  • Curiosity and confidence with technology, able to translate sophisticated solutions into clear business value.
  • Skilled in using AI tools to their advantage for efficiency and day-to-day effectiveness.
  • Ability to translate AI capabilities into compelling client value, representing and pitching AI-driven solutions with confidence.
  • A reputation for being sharp, driven, and relentless about winning new logos.
  • Proficiency with sales and marketing tech like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, HubSpot, SalesLoft, Dealfront, and more
  • Fluency in English is required to fulfill essential sales responsibilities, including managing sales cycles, negotiations, and contractual discussions with international clients and partners.

*The role primarily serves an international enterprise customer base in a global business environment.

What's in it for you

  • Sell to a global market; your territory is not limited to only Quebec or Canada.
  • Own high-impact deals with some of the world's most exciting and recognizable brands.
  • Step into a role where high demand, qualified leads, and enterprise-level deals translate into meaningful rewards.
  • Work with strong market interest and inbound opportunities, supported by a marketing engine that keeps your calendar filled with executive-level conversations.
  • Thrive in a culture that celebrates wins, pushes boundaries, and rewards results.
  • Build your career alongside a team of experienced sales professionals, engineers, and product innovators shaping the next generation of enterprise software.
  • Gain executive-level influence by leading boardroom discussions, shaping strategy with C-suite leaders, and becoming a trusted advisor in enterprise transformation.
