Job description

We are seeking an experienced Epic Refuel Analyst to support enterprise-wide Epic optimization initiatives focused on improving clinical, operational, and revenue cycle workflows following Epic implementation. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Epic build, implementation, and optimization experience, hold current Epic certification in one or more Epic applications, and possess extensive Epic Refuel project experience. This individual will partner with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to identify workflow improvement opportunities, optimize system functionality, and deliver measurable value through the Epic Refuel methodology.


This role requires a highly collaborative consultant who thrives in fast-paced healthcare environments and has a proven track record of leading optimization efforts that improve clinician satisfaction, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes.


Required Qualifications

  • Current Epic certification in at least one Epic application (Ambulatory, ClinDoc, Orders, Grand Central, Prelude, Cadence, Willow, Beaker, Radiant, Cupid, Resolute, MyChart, or other applicable module)
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Epic build, implementation, and optimization experience
  • Direct Epic Refuel project experience is required
  • Multiple full lifecycle Epic implementations and post-live optimization engagements
  • Strong understanding of Epic Foundation System and best practice workflow design
  • Experience facilitating workflow assessments, gap analyses, and optimization workshops
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working directly with physicians, nurses, operational leaders, and executive stakeholders
