Portsmouth, NH • On-site

Job description

About the Role

The Account Executive owns a defined sales territory and is responsible for both hunting for net-new sign shop partners and growing an inherited book of business. This is a field-based, customer-facing role. You'll spend your time traveling throughout your assigned territory, meeting customers in person, conducting demos, and building relationships that drive new business. Cirrus sells LED digital displays and a cloud-based content platform to sign shops at wholesale pricing. Sign shops are independent businesses that fabricate, install, and service signage for end customers.

We are looking for candidates who are eager, motivated, curious by nature, and who possess a hunting mindset alongside the discipline to manage and grow existing accounts. You will leverage these qualities to meet and exceed activity targets and revenue goals within your assigned territory. You are responsible for maintaining full product knowledge and presenting yourself and Cirrus with a level of professionalism consistent with our brand in video meetings, on the phone, and in written communications.

This role operates at high velocity. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable managing a large number of accounts simultaneously, running consistent outreach cadences, and moving multiple deals forward in parallel on any given week.

When you're not traveling within your assigned territory, you'll work from our Portsmouth, NH headquarters. We believe our best work happens together, and our team thrives on in-person collaboration, real-time problem solving, and a fast-paced environment. This role is based in the office Monday through Friday when not meeting with customers.

Role Responsibilities
  • Prospect and identify net new sign company partners within your territory through cold calling, email outreach, and social media prospecting

  • Manage and grow an inherited book of existing sign shop accounts, deepening relationships and increasing share of wallet over time

  • Execute your sales process through HubSpot, maintaining up-to-date activity records, pipeline entries, and account notes within your assigned territory

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations via phone, video, or in person, that clearly communicate the value Cirrus brings to a sign shop's business

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and customers throughout the full sales cycle, from initial contact through close

  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product, and customer service to ensure a smooth experience for new and existing partners

  • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs including pipeline growth, new account acquisition, and revenue attainment

  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market developments to identify new opportunities and sharpen your sales approach

What Success Looks Like
  • A growing territory with an expanding base of active sign shop partners placing repeat orders

  • Consistent attainment of new account acquisition targets alongside revenue goals within your existing book

  • A clean, accurate pipeline in HubSpot that reflects real deal status and supports reliable forecasting

  • A reputation with your sign shop accounts as a knowledgeable, responsive partner who understands their business

Role Requirements
  • 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience with a track record of success in a focused market.

  • Demonstrated ability to prospect and close net new business while managing an existing book of accounts simultaneously.

  • Comfort with high-volume outreach with consistent daily call and outreach activity across a large territory.

  • Ability to learn the sign company business, how they operate, what drives their purchasing decisions, and what makes them successful.

  • Excellent communication and listening skills across phone, video, and in-person interactions.

  • Independent self-starter who takes initiative and does not need to be managed to activity.

  • Experience with CRM-driven sales processes and a commitment to data quality and pipeline hygiene.

  • Prior sales success in a channel, dealer, or reseller environment is a plus.
