They are seeking a high performing Media Sales Account Executive, Social Media & Broadcast Solutions to lead their digital marketing and programmatic sales initiatives to provide fulfillment to their clients sold by the organization’s digital and broadcast media sales teams.

They are seeking a high performing Media Sales Account Executive, Social Media & Broadcast Solutions to lead their digital marketing and programmatic sales initiatives to provide fulfillment to their clients sold by the organization’s digital and broadcast media sales teams.

NOTE: This is a full time on-premise role located at the company's regional operations in Crystal Lake, IL.
This is a not a remote opportunity.


The ideal Media Sales Account Executive will sell their effective marketing solutions—including radio, event, and digital products and services—to small and regional businesses and advertising agencies to help clients grow. The ideal candidate has strong communication, presentation, and time-management skills, is outgoing and gregarious, and can sell to anyone! You will be dedicated to building and maintaining strong client relationships and representing the Company and our digital arm in the Northern Chicago, IL marketplace.

To be successful in this role, you must be highly motivated, have previous sales experience, be goal-oriented, and demonstrate the ability to hold consultative conversations to generate and drive sales for their Chicago North cluster that includes 5 radio/broadcast stations as well as their digital business unit. Responsibilities for this position may include:
  • Excellent cold-calling and networking capabilities to secure appointments.
  • Outgoing and persistent in contacting business decision-makers and focused on meeting the needs and goals of their client.
  • Experience and background in B2B Sales and Marketing.
  • Goal-oriented to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Experience in a client-facing customer service role; excels in providing excellent customer service.
  • Prepares and delivers effective sales presentations.
Requirements of this position include the following:
  • A minimum of two years of sales experience.
  • A proven track record of delivering strong and consistent sales growth while consistently exceeding revenue goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing culture and environment.
