About the Position
Bluefish AI is looking for a creative and strategic Editorial Manager to own our content development and distribution strategy. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling narratives across all content formats and assets, from blog posts and social media to reports and case studies. You'll shape how Bluefish tells its story to the world, establishing our voice as the enterprise leader in AI marketing. This role requires someone who can think strategically about content while rolling up their sleeves to write, edit, and publish high-quality work.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that drives brand awareness, thought leadership, and business demand
  • Own the end-to-end content development process, from ideation and research to drafting, editing, and publication
  • Create engaging content across all formats including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, social media posts, email campaigns, website copy, and scripts
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar that aligns content initiatives with business priorities, product launches, and industry moments
  • Write and edit thought leadership content in collaboration with executives and subject matter experts, positioning Bluefish at the forefront of AI marketing conversations
  • Develop and refine Bluefish's brand voice and content guidelines, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials
  • Manage content distribution strategy across owned channels including website, blog, LinkedIn, and email, optimizing for reach and engagement
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to create integrated campaigns and compelling storytelling
  • Analyze content performance metrics and audience insights to inform strategy and continuously improve effectiveness
  • Stay current on AI, martech, and industry trends, translating complex topics into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences
  • Manage relationships with freelance writers and external contributors as needed
  • Support SEO strategy and optimization to drive organic traffic and visibility

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, or related field
  • 5-7+ years of editorial, content marketing, or journalism experience, ideally within tech, SaaS, or B2B environments
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats and styles, with a portfolio that demonstrates range and quality
  • Proven ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive measurable business results
  • Strong understanding of content marketing best practices, SEO, and digital distribution channels
  • Experience writing about complex technical topics and translating them for business audiences
  • Knowledge of AI, martech, or enterprise software is strongly preferred
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives simultaneously
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term planning with day-to-day execution
  • Collaborative mindset with strong cross-functional communication skills
  • Data-driven approach to content, comfortable using analytics to inform decisions and measure impact
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong editorial judgment
  • Experience with content management systems, social media platforms (particularly LinkedIn), and marketing automation tools
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, WordPress, or similar platforms preferred
