We have an immediate opening for a Full-Time 2nd Shift Material Handler who has experience storing, stocking, moving materials, and loading trucks in a warehouse/ shipping environment.

* This position does not operate a forklift.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

      Peak days (4-5 days/month) end at 1:30am

Responsibilities

Move inventory materials to and from the various locations to support shipping/distribution.  Keep accurate counts of stock and supplies.  Keep all areas behind the lines and in pack area clean and free of hazards. Load customers' orders on correct pallets and on trailers on the dock.

* This position does not operate a forklift.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift
  • Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift
  • Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization
  • Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures
  • Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.)
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality
