About the Role:
The Executive Director in Training (EDIT) program introduces recent graduates to the company's management processes and procedures. The EDIT works closely with the leadership team to support daily community operations. The role includes assisting with the responsibilities of both the Executive Director and the Business Office Manager, while becoming familiar with regional accounting and operational systems. Upon completion of the program, the EDIT is prepared to transition into a Business Office Manager or Executive Director position.
Responsibilities:
  • Department Management: Learn and observe the operations of each department to ensure compliance with established guidelines, budgets, and performance standards.
  • Daily Operations: Participate in daily stand-up meetings and assist in overseeing overall community management.
  • Human Resources and Payroll: Complete new hire paperwork, process timecard adjustments, and support general HR administrative functions.
  • Resident and Family Interaction: Respond to resident and family concerns and provide solutions related to business office operations.
  • Sales and Marketing Support: Work with the sales team to help develop marketing plans, support sales goals, and track upcoming move-ins and move-outs.
  • Financial Oversight: Review accounts receivable and assist with collection efforts, including contacting residents and responsible parties by phone or written correspondence.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the community.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Leadership, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Computer proficiency required; knowledge of Excel preferred but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role required; 5 years preferred.
  • Additional Requirements: Demonstrated desire to learn and grow professionally, with willingness to relocate within Texas.
