The Role - Business Development Executive - Spartanburg/Greenville, SC.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Partnerships Executive to build relationships with referring physician offices (as well as other key stakeholders) to drive referral volume and revenue to our Local Infusion centers. The Business Development & Partnerships Executive will be a key representative of the Local Infusion brand in the market, and be a trusted partner to external and internal stakeholders.

Estimated Total Comp (Salary + Commission) is $200K - $235K+

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow revenue for assigned locations by driving referrals from specialist physician offices prescribing infusion therapy.

  • Develop, maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders in your territory including specialist physician office staff, primary care providers, Pharmaceutical reps, payer case managers, benefits consultants and employers.

  • Work closely with providers, referral partners, and Local Infusion operations team to ensure positive outcomes for patients and physicians.

  • Increase brand recognition by attending networking events, conferences, local walks and other community functions.

  • Act as a liaison between referring practices and Local Infusion operations team to ensure physician practices are educated on referral processes and patients are captured timely.

  • Establish a positive and collaborative working relationship with pharmaceutical reps and other referral sources within territory.

  • Input timely and well-organized reports via CRM reporting, management tracking and expense platforms.

  • Meet & exceed sales quota.

  • Occasional night and weekend work required.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.

  • A history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Competitive spirit, with customer focused attitude.

  • Consistently positive attitude, with a commitment to ongoing self development.

  • Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.

  • Excellent listening skills and ability to uncover pain points and identify opportunities.

  • Proficiency in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and standard office software application.

  • Experience working directly with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff members preferred.

  • Prior experience selling or supporting infused medications, specialty biologics, IV therapies, IG therapies, specialty injectables, or related therapeutic products strongly preferred.

  • Experience building relationships directly with physician offices, infusion clinics, specialty practices, nurses, care coordinators, and clinical staff.

  • Background calling on specialties such as rheumatology, gastroenterology, neurology, immunology, dermatology, cardiology, or similar referral driven specialties strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability to identify referral opportunities, uncover provider pain points, and identify opportunities that improve patient access, provider experience, and care coordination.

  • Travel requirements: Primarily day time travel within assigned territory, and occasional overnight travel.

  • Occasional night and weekend work required.

  • Must be located in the Spartanburg/Greenville, SC. area
