Responsibilities

  • Manage a contingent workforce ranging from approximately 25 to more than 500 employees within a client facility.
  • Monitor attendance, turnover, productivity, and workforce trends to ensure staffing stability and performance.
  • Conduct employee coaching, counseling, and corrective action as needed to support performance and adherence to expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with client policies, procedures, and workforce guidelines at all times.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding, orientations, and site-specific training to ensure workers are prepared and compliant before starting assignments.
  • Partner closely with recruiting teams to ensure all staffing needs are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Forecast upcoming hiring demands and clearly communicate workforce needs to recruiting and internal stakeholders.
  • Review candidate qualifications and provide final hiring recommendations based on client requirements and operational needs.
  • Support recruiting efforts by participating in job fairs, referral programs, and local networking activities.
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for client leadership regarding workforce matters.
  • Conduct regular meetings with client leadership and internal teams to review workforce performance, hiring needs, and operational challenges.
  • Proactively identify workforce issues and implement solutions to improve engagement, retention, and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate workforce records and documentation related to attendance, performance, onboarding, and compliance.

Essential Skills

  • Supervisory skills with demonstrated experience leading and managing hourly workforces.
  • Experience managing large hourly workforces, highly preferred.
  • Background supporting manufacturing, logistics, distribution, food production, pharmaceutical, or industrial environments, preferred.

  • Experience supporting recruiting initiatives such as job fairs, referral programs, and local networking.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes, orientations, and site-specific training programs.
  • Capability to analyze workforce metrics such as attendance, turnover, and productivity to drive decisions.
