Job description

Account Executive (AWS Co-Sell Specialist)

  • Reports To: Sales Lead / CEO
  • Location: Remote (US-Based / Close proximity to major AWS tech hubs preferred)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time W2

The Hook

Are you a high-performing B2B sales professional who wants to close cutting-edge cloud and AI solutions without the burden of technical scoping? As an AI-first, full-service innovation shop and AWS Advanced Tier Partner, RevStar delivers end-to-end cloud-native solutions that create real business impact. We are seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to act as our primary commercial face to AWS account teams and enterprise clients. In this role, you will build strategic momentum, qualify opportunities, and drive deals to closure while our Solutions Architects handle the technical heavy lifting. Above all, the ideal candidate embodies RevStar's core values: Self-Mastery: We hold a high bar for how we think, communicate, and improve. Ownership: We own outcomes, not just effort. Shared Destiny: We rise or fall together.

Your Impact Pillars

Your strategic focus is organized around three high-impact execution areas:

1. AWS Ecosystem Partnership & Alignment

  • Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with AWS Account Managers, Partner Success Managers (PSMs), and Inside Sales Reps (ISRs).
  • Act as the authoritative RevStar point of contact for assigned territories, positioning our specialized AI/ML capabilities top-of-mind.
  • Orchestrate high-impact, in-market enablement events, including lunch-and-learns, workshops, and meetups with AWS representatives.

2. Co-Sell Pipeline & Deal Ownership

  • Identify, source, and masterfully qualify AWS-referred cloud modernization and custom application opportunities.
  • Own total opportunity progression from the initial partner introduction through technical alignment to contract closure.
  • Maintain meticulous pipeline data hygiene within HubSpot and the AWS ACE portal to support transparent revenue forecasting.

3. Commercial Strategy & Account Expansion

  • Lead customer-facing business discovery meetings to map out operational pain points, budget cycles, and project timelines.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal Solutions Architects to coordinate clean pricing estimations, proposals, and SOW creation.
  • Formulate precise account growth strategies, identifying upsell opportunities across existing enterprise clients in lockstep with AWS.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years of proven success within a B2B technology sales or account executive role, ideally in IT consulting or professional services.
  • Ecosystem Agility: Demonstrated skill in navigating complex, partner-led channel sales ecosystems with multiple stakeholders.
  • Sales Mechanics: Ability to actively drive a high volume of multi-stage deals forward simultaneously without losing pipeline accuracy.

Preferred Extras

  • Familiarity with core AWS offerings (Data platforms, Serverless architectures, or Generative AI patterns).
  • Prior experience aligning deals with AWS incentive structures like MAP or PoC credits.

Benefits

Benefits for Full-Time W2 Positions:

  • Paid Time Off - Take the time you need to recharge and stay productive.
  • Remote-First Working Environment - Collaborate from anywhere while staying connected with our global team.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage - Medical, Dental, Vision
  • 401(k) Retirement Plan - Plan for your future with access to a company-sponsored 401(k) program.
  • Annual Learning & Development Stipend - Invest in your skills with conferences, certifications, or courses.
  • Peer Mentorship & Coaching - Learn from experienced engineers, product managers, and architects to accelerate your growth.
  • Professional Growth Opportunities - Exposure to cutting-edge AWS GenAI, data, and cloud technologies across diverse industries.
  • Company Outings & Volunteer Opportunities - Build relationships and give back to the community.
  • Collaborative, Innovative Culture - Work alongside top talent in a fast-paced, supportive environment that values curiosity and initiative.
