Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) - Oncology

AdventHealth is excited to announce the opening of our state-of-the-art Cancer Center, expanding our comprehensive oncology services to NW Georgia. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our growing team. This role is designed for a mission-aligned APP who desires meaningful patient relationships and the opportunity to make a significant impact in our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered hematology and medical oncology care in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, symptom management, and treatment education
  • Manage infusion patients and clinic settings, including urgent oncology needs
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging
  • Coordinate care across the cancer continuum with internal and external partners
  • Document care in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiative

Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
  • Active Georgia APRN or PA-C license (or ability to obtain)
  • National certification as NP or PA
  • Oncology experience as an APP or RN (preferred)
  • OCN or AOCNP certification (preferred)
  • Experience in outpatient oncology, hematology/oncology, or infusion service (preferred)
