Job description

Currently Hiring: Executive housekeeper / maid

Shift: Mon - Fri, 7:30 - 4 pm (plus on call needs, overtime possible)

Pay rate: $25.00 / hr

Facility Type:  Executive housing / event venue


A client in a downtown Columbia residence / event venue is seeking a highly skilled, full-time Executive Housekeeper to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and household efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, discreet, detail-oriented, and experienced in high-end private service, with strong serving and executive housekeeping expertise at a residence that doubles as an event venue

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive daily and deep cleaning throughout the entire residence, maintaining impeccable standards for luxury finishes and furnishings
  • Expertly organize closets, kitchen, pantries, and all household storage areas for optimal functionality and presentation
  • Implements museum-quality care for historical surfaces, fine finishes, and specialty materials (wood, marble, stone, lacquer, wallpaper, woven rugs, tapestries)

  • Manage all laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and meticulous care of fine garments, linens, and delicates
  • Collaborate closely with fellow housekeepers to coordinate tasks, replenish supplies, set tables elegantly, and support overall household operations

Schedule: Full time, Live-out position, year-round.

Compensation & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $25-30 (based on experience and qualifications). Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process.

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a comparable senior role for a private family, luxury hotel or estate experience considered
  • Exceptional organizational skills, proactive mindset, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, discretion, and the ability to work harmoniously in a small, private household team
  • Oversees full event setup, staging, table settings, linens, restroom standards, silver polishing and backofhouse preparation;

  • Provides operational, service, and cleanup support, including postevent reset and rapid turnaround.

  • Responsible for answering the telephone, taking messages, receiving callers and giving directions.

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
